### Profile Carousel

**Solution:** Off-the-shelf solutions fell short, so we built a high-performance carousel from scratch - capable of real-time user updates, swipe actions, and smooth animations with haptic feedback to deliver an intuitive and engaging profile browsing experience.

### Map Overload with Avatars

**Solution:** Showing hundreds of user markers with images caused the map to crash. We fixed this by grouping nearby profiles together and using a scrollable carousel with Bitmoji avatars—ensuring smooth performance even with many users on the map.

### Real-Time Events & Messaging

**Solution:** Managing live messages, likes and unmatches in real time wasn’t easy. We built a robust socket-based solution that ensured instant delivery, accurate badge counts and seamless swiping across devices.

### Bitmoji Without SDK - Custom Integration Using Flutter

**Solution:** We wanted a more customized experience for users, so we built our own integration using Flutter and OAuth. It was time-consuming and complex - but worth it to deliver a smooth, personalized map experience without relying on a standard SDK.
